Goooood morning :)
Last night I had a 15 minute run planned (not really sure the point of only 15 minutes but I did it anyways) so Jbone and I got creative. I left the house for the gym 15 minutes before he did except I was running. On his way to the gym he would pass me and pick me up! It worked out swimmingly!
At CrossFit last night I really like the WOD. I was huffin’ and puffin’ but this one didn’t kill me like I expected!
4rounds for time:
15 sumo deadlift high pulls
15 box jumps
15 toes to bar
15 kettlebell swings
I was worried that since I was still sore from all of Monday’s pull ups I was going to die. Don’t worry, I didn’t! I know a few people who are having a hard time with workouts lately and starting to lack the motivation.
DON’T GIVE UP
Maybe you need a couple of days or even a week off. Maybe your body is going through a change. Just don’t give up on yourself or your sport! It will get better and easier. It’s going to be tough and require some hard work, but don’t don’t don’t give up!
Once J and I got home we were starvin’ like marvin’ so we dove right into dinner. Leftovers made into burritos it was!
After dinner Jbone and I hung out. We took the pups for a walk around our neighborhood then just vegged on the couch. I may or may not have been a little hyper. J really appreciated it and was especially happy that we were roommates at that instance.
Tonight is a tempo run! Hopefully it’s not as hard as I am anticipating!
